Interesting fee structure
This is a city park; you pay the basic fee ($13) and then you pay if you want electric ($3), sewer ($2), and/or water ($2). I like that. There are some concrete pads but most are grass or gravel. Less than half the sites are suitable for an RV because they are so hilly. I wonder that they are suitable for a tenter, even. The park is on Lake Storey and there is a 'water park' with pool across the narrow lake. The lake is reputed to be one of the best in the state for fishing; can't vouch for it, since we are not fisherpeople. The park is at the north edge of town, but a city bus comes to take you into town and to the beach and pool on the other side of the lake. The restrooms are dated. There is a reservable open shelter. 8 handicap sites. You can choose between wooded and open sites. Open mid-April to mid-October. 309-344-1534.
