Better than expected

This is a pretty empty stretch of I-10 to find a decent, no frills stop for the night. We were westbound hoping to go a little past Lafayette but ended up just needed something closer. Enter this campground. It was pretty crowded and seems to offer a few of the "resort" campground amenities. We were only interested in a place to camp overnight. The staff seemed to have their act together up to marshaling you in when you arrived. They also escorted you to your campsite, and annoyingly told me exactly how to park down to which direction to turn my steering wheel. I believe they were trying to help, but it was annoying nonetheless. The sites are all back in and ours was perfectly level, and we had to detach our 33' TT in order for our hoses to fit the hookups which is a minor concern for us but worth noting. They are a Good Sam's campground and only accept Cash, Debit Card and Checks. No credit cards. All things considered, not a bad campground.
