Close to all of Carmel?s Attractions
Carmel River RV Park is located near all the great attractions of Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Monterey. Everything is a short drive about 4 to 5 Miles. The park accommodated our 45 foot rig easily. The faculties are well maintained with recent improvements. The entire staff is warm friendly and helpful.
This is a must stay.
Fantastic
This park is in the heart of beautiful Carmel Valley. The Park is wonderfully maintained and the owners are incredible. It is located along the Carmel River, which flows seasonally. The owners go out of the way to assist you and make you feel at home when you arrive. Club house has billiards, and other games. Very nice patio with gas BBQs. Store has good selection of necessities. There are multiple Restaurants and Golf courses within 2 to 3 miles. Carmel is only 5 miles away. Great big Rig access.
Fantastic Experience?
Good but pricey
Great ammenities, supply store close by, friendly staff but not so good showers
Difficult to find
Difficult to find. Not cheap.
A nightmare at Carmel
Made a reservation by phone using my credit card and had it imediately confirmed. I was told to arrive before 8 pm to check-in. I arrived at 6:30 and the office was closed. My name was not among the reservations for that night! After a while the responsible for the camp appeared and was totally arrogant saying there was no reservation for me. I had to find another place to stay with my wife and a three-year-old kid. I'm waiting now to check if my credit card was charged. Totally unfair and absurd situation! I do not recomend it for anybody.
Carmel By The River RV Park Review
The Park is secluded in the woods a few miles from town. It is very peaceful and clean. The owner or host was very friendly and helpful. They had a game room with Air Hockey, Pool Table, Ping Pong and TV sitting area. Bathrooms were clean and the garbage was not over flowing. The road coming in was a bit small, we are driving a 40' Rv and it has a one lane bridge that is being extended to two lanes.
