Had a little trouble finding the campground but we were very happy when we arrived. Campground is clean, neat and well maintained. The lake is beautiful and there was a nice breeze blowing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.
Right on Sauk Lake
This in-town campground has a lot going for it: it is part of a city park in a residential neighborhood, it sits right on Sauk Lake (you can watch the lake while you eat breakfast), it is close to the interstate but quiet, it is across the street from the Lake Woebegon Bike Trail, which runs for 46 miles in this area. The roads are blacktop, the sites are grass. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. All sites have water and electricity and many have sewer as well. Lots of trees make it shady.
Maximum length is 40'
Open May 1st to October 15th
